To reserve a room, you will need:

• A valid HCPL library card number with PIN
• A valid email address

You are allowed up to two active reservations on your account. Note that selling of goods or services is not allowed in rooms.

• Tuckahoe Area Library
• Twin Hickory Area Library
• Varina Area Library

Reservation Steps

1. Select a library location above.
2. Select a start time in the availability grid. Available times are shown in green. Click Info for more information about a room.
3. Select an end time from the dropdown below the grid.
4. Click Log In to Continue and sign in with your library card number and PIN.
5. Review the policies and complete the request form. Click Submit my Request.
6. Depending on the room type, you will receive a notification email.
   1. Study Room bookings are immediately confirmed.
   2. Meeting Room, Conference Room, Digital Media Lab, and One Button Recording Studio bookings must be approved by staff. The first email will state that your reservation is pending approval. You will be notified again when staff have approved your request.

After Reservation

If your plans change and/or you no longer need the reserved space, please contact your library to make changes or use the notification email to cancel so others may use the room.

Digital Media Labs (DML) are self-serve and open to all on most days. Reservation is generally not required. Check the Open Lab Hours Calendar for availability. For additional information about the DML, visit our website.

If you need the entire room as a secluded space to work on a digital media project, please follow the Reservation Steps above. The Digital Media Labs are available at Fairfield, Libbie Mill, Tuckahoe, Twin Hickory, and Varina libraries.
