Black History Month Film Festival

Black History Month Film Festival

During this year's festival, our focus is on the multi-talented actor, writer, producer, and director Jordan Peele.

Get Out (2017, R, 103 min.) A horror tale about a young African American man about to meet his white girlfriend's parents for the first time. The trip to the family's estate begins with some uncomfortable racial tension, but quickly turns into a fight for survival as he becomes the unwilling subject of a bizarre procedure that could cost him his mind.

This program is offered as part of the library's commemoration of Black History Month. View additional programs in this series.
