Fought in Henrico County on September 29, 1864, the Battle of New Market Heights is noted for producing 14 Black recipients of the United States' highest award for military valor in action- the Medal of Honor. Learn more about the history surrounding these events in a presentation by Tim Talbott, the Chief Administrative Officer of the Central Virginia Battlefields Trust.
