Come see David Gorman, author of The Jumbled Jewels, part of The Waldameer Mystery Files series written for kids ages 8-12. Seth and Julia are siblings who solve mysteries at Waldameer-one of America's oldest amusement parks. In Book 6, Julia races to locate stolen million-dollar jewels, outwit thieves, and solve her first mystery without her big brother, making this an exciting all-girls mystery about believing in yourself. Gorman grew up at Waldameer, his family's amusement park in Erie, Pennsylvania. After teaching English in Vietnam, he settled in Richmond, where he has lived for nine years. When David isn't writing or inspiring students to read, he works as a middle school counselor in Chesterfield County.
