Color Theory Through Watercolor with the VMFA

Color Theory Through Watercolor with the VMFA

In this featured Summer Reading event, artist Dawn Flores will guide participants through a series of fun exercises to support learning about tints, shades, and tones; the color wheel; complementary colors, and color schemes. Participants will also produce useful charts and swatches to consult for future reference. Perfect for the beginner or someone with experience, this workshop will help build masterful color mixing skills, no matter the medium used. This program is supported in part by the Paul Mellon Endowment and the Jean Stafford Camp Memorial Fund. Additional sponsorship provided by the Friends of Henrico County Public Library.
