Using Math Concepts in Storytime and Circle Time
Workshop for Child Care Providers. Early numeracy often gets overshadowed by literacy. Learn practical ways to incorporate math concepts into circle time with books, activities, and games for toddlers and preschoolers. We will explore foundational math concepts beyond numbers and counting, including spatial awareness, measurement, geometry, data collection, interpretation, and more. Child care providers earn 1.5 hours of continuing education credit.
