Familia Fiesta: Viva la Vida, A Musical Celebration of the Life and Times of Frida Kahlo

William Feasley, VMFA Faculty and classical guitarist, leads a musical journey through Mexican culture and history through the medium of guitar. The works of the most prolific Mexican guitar composer and contemporary of Frida Kahlo, Manuel Ponce, will be highlighted alongside those of Carlos Chavez and Octaviano Yañez. This program is supported in part by the Paul Mellon Endowment and the Jean Stafford Camp Memorial Fund.
