Cold War Virginia with F. Gary Powers, Jr.

F. Gary Powers, Jr., founder and chairman emeritus of the Cold War Museum, will explore various roles that the Commonwealth of Virginia played in U.S. involvement during the Cold War. As a Cold War historian, author, and son of Soviet-captured U-2 pilot Francis Gary Powers, he will share true stories of espionage, heroism, and betrayal. Books will be available for purchase and signing. Sponsored by the Friends of the Library.
