Henrico Community Authors Showcase

Henrico Community Authors Showcase

Come see Audrey Weatherstone, author of the debut children's picture book Lady Needed Space. Lady is a rescue dog adopted from a shelter who struggles to make friends and adapt to the new world around her. Readers will learn about dog reactivity and body language and feel validated in their own big emotions and need for space. Weatherstone is an author, singer-songwriter, and music therapist living in Richmond, VA. Her music and writing are inspired by her work as a music therapist and her reactive rescue dog- Lady.

Read, discuss, and connect with other writers and readers in our community. Local authors sign up and share their books. Visit henricolibrary.org/authors for details. Sponsored by the Friends of the Library.

The Henrico Community Authors Showcase is a self-service program for local authors. Please note that the Library does not endorse the content, quality, position, or opinions of participating authors or their works. While the library may promote the offering of this service to the community, it is the responsibility of authors to promote their individual showcase events according to the author guidelines.
