Come see Timothy J. Thompson, author of Go! Go! Tuckahoe! History of Tuckahoe Little League & the Magical 1968 Team that Transformed the Community. Based on extensive research and in-depth interviews, Go! Go! Tuckahoe! provides perspective about one of the most significant moments, and most accomplished teams, in Richmond's sports history, with clear insights about the evolution of Tuckahoe and Little League worldwide. Thompson grew up near Tuckahoe's Three Fields and played there for six years giving him a front row seat to the successes of the team that went to the Little League World Series. Thompson spent a career in product development and graphic design, and most recently has been the writer, editor, and publisher of the cultural journal Chesapeake documenting the culture and history of Virginia's watermen on the Chesapeake Bay.
