Poetry in Conversation: Richmond Poet Laureates Rosa Castellano and Maurice "Moeflowz" Brown
This program has been modified from its original format. This featured National Poetry Month event connects Richmond's two newest poet laureates, Rosa Castellano and Maurice "Moeflowz" Brown, for readings and an interview-style engagement designed to put poems and poets in conversation with one and other. Castellano is based in Richmond, VA where she writes, teaches, and is the co-founder of the RVA Poetry Festival. Her debut poetry collection, All is the Telling, has recently been published by Diode Editions. Brown is the founder of Ink & Barrel, an organization dedicated to the empowerment of poetry, serves as the Associate Director of The Writer's Den RVA and teaches math at Virginia Commonwealth University. Castellano's poetry collection will be available for signing and purchase. Sponsored by the Friends of the Library.
