Children's book author and illustrator R. Gregory Christie will be walking participants through the creative process while looking at his award-winning book Bad News for Outlaws. From concept and text to the finished product in book form, learn how Christie created visual connections for readers in this story of the first African American Deputy U.S. Marshall and remarkable figure of the Old West, Bass Reeves.
