Historically Speaking: 19th century Immigration to Henrico County
Henrico County Recreation and Parks historian Lisa Denton will share the latest research on individuals and families who settled in the county during the mid-to-late 1800s. Local and national population trends will be compared, and the social, economic, political, and leadership roles played by 19th-century immigrants in Henrico and the greater Richmond metro area will be examined through the lens of pursuing the "American Dream."
