Open Book with Meg Medina
Share stories, ideas, and snacks with Newbery-award winning local author Meg Medina and other tweens curious about reading and writing. Connect with Meg and other readers and aspiring writers your age to explore literature, with an emphasis on awesome under-the-radar books, empowering characters, and themes that resonate. Meg will discuss two titles per session from her summer reading list, as well as the craft of writing. You'll have a chance to share your thoughts about these and your own favorite books in this open-ended book club for rising 4-7th graders.
