Come see Andrew Cothern, author of RVA Playlist: Stories from the Richmond, Virginia Music Scene. Andrew Cothern has been a music journalist, show goer, and champion of the Richmond, Virginia music scene for nearly two decades and with that comes a lot of stories. His book includes reminiscences about his time covering Richmond's overlooked and often underappreciated local music scene from 2006-2016. Cothern is a music lover and writer, best known for his music blog RVA Playlist. He has written for the Richmond Times-Dispatch, Richmond.com, Style Weekly, River City Rapids, RVANews, and many other outlets. His work with RVA Playlist has been featured in New York Magazine, the Richmond Times-Dispatch, RVA Magazine, and Richmond Magazine.
